Sun on the castle

The Allisons took us to Warwick castle, a medieval castle originally built by William the conqueror in 1068. Later, the castle was owned by The Earl of Warwick – Richard Neville,  famously known as Warwick the Kingmaker.  As a reader of Phillipa Gregory novels, this made the castle very interesting for me. Aarons number one priority for this trip to the UK was to see a trebuchet in action – and we were able to see this, along with jousting, archery and a birds of prey demonstration. Mum, Dad and Elliott will remember our last visit on a freezing cold day –  I’m happy to say, that on this visit we had blue skies and sunshine!
