Yesterday we had a perfect day at Blenheim Palace. We were blown away by the beauty of the building and serenity of the grounds. If we were asked to describe it in one word it would be this: “green”
Breathtaking view of the bridge as we drove in.
The Palace was built between 1705 and circa 1722. It is the principal residence of the dukes of Marlborough. Also, Winston Churchill was born here.
Stunning! I’ld live here in a heart beat ♡
Greenest grass we ever did see.

Me at Blenheim
Trying to get us both and the Palace!
The tulips were out in abundance..
Which I was very pleased about
My new shoes at Blenheim! Not too dissimilar to Winston Churchill’s which we saw on display might I add 🙂
We tried the Duke’s fudge ice cream – jolly good!
We completed the maze in record time! Then realised we had done it backwards!
Brilliant yew tree hedges
